Berte started this quilt by paper piecing and fussy cutting her fabric. Carol added the two inch border. My border neededd to be eight inches wide so I add squares with "wonky"stars. The green strips were added to make the measurements correct.
I believe Berte will be pleased with the border you added to her quilt. In addition to your careful work to get all your squares perfectly aligned, I'm impressed in your creativity with the pattern you selected and the fabric used. Great job!
