This little bow tie is the basic unit for a piece I'm making. It started out as five 2 1/2 inch squares, three of the main fabric, and two bakcground:
These are sewn together to make a rather strange arrangement. Sewing the final seam results in a three-dimentional bow tie.
I like the international design on the dark fabric. This should be an interesting project.
