A New Challenge
Last Saturday was quilting-with-friends day, so I started to work on my challenge quilt for next fall. 
Each block will start out 5 inches by 8. More will be added later to make 10 inch squares. I'm not sure how this one will end up, but it is a challenge to choose different fabrics for each block, cut the tiny pieces, sew them together, and press them flat to the exact dimensions required. In a change from my other quilts, every block in this project will be different. It is also fun to work with a completely different color palette.

Can't wait to see how this works out. Do you have patterns for each of the squares?
ReplyDeleteYes. We each bought the same book with many patterns for the blocks and for different ways to put them together.
