I'm excited about my project for the Colorado trip with the Main Street Quilters in June. Our challenge is to make something using the Log Cabin pattern. Log Cabin has countless variations. The one I chose to make has a star in the center with the "logs" around it.
Since I've never made this pattern before, I decided to make a sample square. Now I feel confident that I can do it. For the sample, I found some fabric in my scrap box. It turned out so well I think I may make it into a pillow for the guest bed. For the challenge quilt, I'm making a Christmas table topper. Can't wait to get started!
